I love nichijou and i recommend everyone to watch/read it like no joke . It has yuri , it has trans representation (nano is VERY trans coded) and it is super fucking funny !!

No i dont think she is named after the editor lol
i believe it is never really elaborated on , but its still ongoing so maybe in the future it will be elaborated on
