I am TIRED of using linux !!! i love freebsd so much more but gentoo userspace is like so peak
ANYONE WANNA REVIVE GENTOO/KFREEBSD WITH ME !?!?!? (half joking ! idk how much work itd be but i have good experience about operating systems so idk if anyone wants to take a shot with me :3 )

omg yes i knew youd be up to it !! (i think we talked about this before on fedi lol )
i would have to look into the older gentoo/kfreebsd before tbh .. gotta see how they did it and what exactly the work behind it is
if you have any clues or whatever please let me know !! ^^

Using freeBSD and Gentoo at the same time? Only a serial computer toucher would want to do that :3
Also correct me if I am wrong (I definitely am) but isn't freeBSDs port system kind of like Gentoos emerge?

yes ! the bsd ports system was an inspiration for gentoos portage, though in Gentoo/kfreebsd bsd ports is replaced with portage
portage is like modern ports, is very advanced and I love using it, using ports after maining gentoo is always "I wish I was on Gentoo rn

" lol
